Check the Windows 7 Compatibility Center to see if the scanner will work with Windows 7. If it is supported then try to update driver Automatically through Win7 update.
or you can contact ACER and ask if there will ever be drivers from Windows 7 (doubtful, but worth a try for one last ditch effort).
