Driver para umax astra 610p para xp

Necesito los driver para usar el escaner en xp, antes lo usaba en un pc con win 98, pero no los consigo.

Buenos días
Primero las malas noticias: desde 1 de enero 2008 UMAX ya no admite este modelo de escáner.

pero no tan malo, ese es el problema de instalar el controlador:

En primer lugar, NO necesita un controlador para hacer esto! NO utilice su UMAX CD! Si su WIN XP está al día, un conductor se encuentra dentro del sistema operativo. Este es el procedimiento para obtenerlo de trabajo:
-Apague el PC
-Conectar y encender el 610P (asegúrese de que está conectado a su PC también!)
-Encender el pc
A través del Panel de control, si usted está en la Vista por categorías, seleccione "Impresoras y otro hardware"
-Continuación, seleccione "Escáneres y cámaras"
-En el lado izquierdo, seleccione "Agregar un dispositivo de imagen" y obtendrá un asistente de instalación para abrir
Clic en "Siguiente"
-A continuación se le pedirá que un escáner o una cámara que desea instalar
-En virtud de "fabricante" en el lado izquierdo, seleccione "Data Systems Inc. UMAX"
-Modelo "UMAX Astra 610P" debería aparecer en la ventana del lado derecho

-La siguiente ventana confirmará que el escáner se ha instalado y se puede salir del asistente "
-NOW, para usar el escáner, al iniciar el sistema, vaya a Panel de control, Impresoras y otro hardware, escáneres y cámaras, y haga doble clic en el "UMAX Astra 610P icono"
-El Asistente para escáneres y cámaras se abrirá
Clic en "Siguiente"
preferencias de escaneo se puede establecer desde ese punto, sólo tienes que seguir las instrucciones en pantalla y de Q
-Al hacer clic en "Vista previa", prepárese para esperar, sino que toma un tiempo

AHORA, NO instalar Vista Scan o cualquier otro CD que viene con el escáner. USTED NO NECESITA NINGUNA DE TI! Win XP se encarga de todo! Y MEJOR!

Firstly, YOU DO NOT NEED A DRIVER to do this!!! DO NOT use your UMAX CD! If your WIN XP is up to date, a driver is contained within the OS. Here is the procedure to get it working:
-turn off your pc
-plug in and turn on your 610P (make sure it is connected to your PC too!)
-power up your pc
-through Control Panel, if you are in Category View, Select "Printers and Other Hardware"
-then Select "Scanners and Cameras"
-on the left side, Select "Add an Imaging Device" and you will get an Installation Wizard to open
-click "Next"
-You will then be asked which scanner or camera you wish to install
-under "Manufacturer" on the left side, Select "UMAX Data Systems Inc."
-model "UMAX Astra 610P" should then appear in the right side window
-DO NOT click "HAVE DISK"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-click "Next"
-it then will ask you to plug in your device into the printer port (of course you've already done that right?"
-click "Next"
-the next window will verify the name of your device; check to see that it is correct, change if necessary
-the next window will confirm that your scanner has been installed and you can exit the "wizard"
-NOW, to use your scanner, after reboot, go to Control Panel, Printers and Other Hardware, Scanners and Cameras, and Double Click on the "UMAX Astra 610P" icon
-the Scanner and Camera Wizard will open
-click "Next"
-Scanning preferences can be set from that point, just follow the on-screen prompts and Q's
-when you click "Preview", be prepared to wait; it takes awhile


THAT'S IT!!!!

NOW, DO NOT install Vista Scan or any other CD that came with the scanner. YOU DO NOT NEED ANY OF IT!!! Win XP takes care of all!!! AND BETTER!!!
