  • Looking for XP or Win7 driver for Visioneer 6100 USB flatbed scanner.

The Visioneer 6100 is a flatbed USB scanner. I have an old Toshiba laptop with XP. I can remember using this scanner with Win98, but I dont have a Win98 computer anymore. Anybody have a XP driver for it? Mechanically, the scanner seems fine. But I will have to chuck it if I can't get a driver for it, which may not exist. I couldn't find one on the Visioneer/xerox website. I'm not sure why there might not be an XP driver for it. A Win7 driver would be even better, because then I could use it with my Lenovo desktop. My new Epson DS-510 scanner wont scan an envelope or any document thicker than thick paper, because the thickness causes the feeder to jam. My Epson WF-2540 all in one has a hardware problem (according to Epson) and scanning from the flatbed results in a 2 inch wide opaque (usually a purplish color) stripe across the scan result about 2 inches from the top. Thanks to anyone who can help.
