Driver for Sata drive

Hello all, I'm looking for the driver to get my Toshiba A205-6808 up and running again. Heres what happened.I was doing a defrag and it crashed. Now it cant load xp. I tried to re-install XP but it would start the installation and said i had to partition the drive. I didnt want to do that for fear of losing all my info on the disk. I bought a new SATA drive and Bios set see's it but XP wont.

Cant find anything for Win XP for your model
only Vista and Win 7

When you look at the bottom of the machine it says Vista but came with XP.

Have you tried to set for Default Manufacturer Settings and OS?

Yup and still nothing I talked with Toshiba today and the said that the machine was sent out with vista on it I got it from bestbuy a while back and the put XP on it. Now I cant do anything

have you tried to Install Vista?

the vista that came with it is the upgrade version and says to go to the windows site to get it, But they removed it so I guess i'm SOL. But i'm still working on it. I might have to just purchase the Recovery disk from Toshiba.
