  • Belkin Cardbus Driver f5D7010 - ver1314fr

    Hi
I searched this 802.11G driver all around Belkin website, uk, australia and france. They don't have it. The ver1314fr is a very small sticker pasted on the main back sticker and the top sticker is all in french and has a mark F5D7010fr. devmgmt.msc says VID_14E4&DEV_4320&SUBSYS_70101799&REV_03
    fccid is K7S-F5D7010B and s/n:624AM030229, MAC 001150-3A6785
There is also marks P81547-B & Made in China CM-2

Maybe the ver1314fr is for wireless channels 13 & 14 (although I know channel 14 is for Japan only)

I tryied the driver broadcom_43xx_drv_4102284 which end in error "could not start hardware - err code 39"

    Any idea please

    Thank you

I say just a bit as my wireless SSID is recognized as WEP when it is WPA2/AES.
Let's check if it's ok with your driver.

It didn't work. After many trials, I installed their Belkin F5D7010v4. It failed as others but this time I waited for the installer to prompt me to plug the card in slot and left it pending to go to %tmp% to copy the sub..sub folder WINXP2K into a secure place.
Then I released the installer, but I think I could have cancel it, because after it ended I removed the silly Belkin App... which also uninstalled the card... don't care unplug/replug, devmgmt.msc, update driver and direct it to force ~I know what I do/manual~ and browse to the said secure place. Let create a restore point, see ~update~ running, enjoy : it appears the working driver is 3.100.64.1 (so below anything v4x). Autoupdate won't work, because (I think) a preinstalled (by a previous wizard) M$ signed v4x driver will have precedence over an unsigned v3. The thing I ignore is how to set the regulatory domain. No matter, I got it running on channel 13 (+WAP2/AES ) so that's all fine.
Anybody needing to change because of travelling would either look in driver parameters in devices manager or keep the Belkin app which has a feature to select country if I remember well.
