ViewSonic VA1716w

I need a monitor driver profile for a ViewSonic VA1716w widescreen monitor for a Macintosh PowerPC G5 with OS X 10.5.8.

The mac doesn’t recognize the monitor, he displays it only as VGA monitor.

The needed resolution af 1440 x 900 is not available.

I didn’t got an answer from ViewSonic to my request.

But fortunatly I must restart the mac these days and look: the Viewsonic monitor finds himself the correct monitor profile with the requested resolution of 1440 x 900.

Now all works fine.
