  • SONY Bravia LCD Monitor Driver for Windows 7

Is there anyone can explain me how can I find windws 7 driver for my Sony Bravia LCD to use a monitor?

I tried to use with short cable 1.8m its working fine even i can see in display properties SONY TV

But when i use 3m cable windows is not detecting it as a PNP driver. it is using as a NON-PNP driver and I cannot get 1080 resolution.

    Any suggetion?

    Thanks in Advance

Hello I think that to get 1080 resolution you need to connect through HDMI cable

Im getting 1080 through 1.8m Cable

      Hi,

      Thanks for reply.

Im getting 1080 through 1.8m VGA Cable and window 7 is detecting Generic pnp Monitor and Monitor Model "Sony TV" in Display Properties .

But when I connect 3m Cable, system detect Generic non-pnp driver and Default VGA Monitor as a Monitor Model

      Any Suggestion

Any workaround? Or force system to select "Sony TV" as a Monitor Model.

      Any technical help ?

maybe you should ask same question to support team where you bought this cable.
or try another one 3m cable to make sure that it is a cable problem.
I suggest you to buy DVI or HDMI cable for normal work with your TV
