I bought a CTL pc that I believe was upgraded from xp to W7 64. My problem is a 3 minute wait with the blinking cursor upper left for 3 minutes until W7 starts normally and works fine after. I want to upgrade the bios for one thing. System says it is currently NT94510J.86A.3659.2006.0315.1110, 3/15/2006. I get RAID driver 9.6.0.1014 19Mar2010 as the driver to install. I get the message of "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software" I suppose that maybe this is because my onboard graphics are not the latest. I'm hoping that this can be got around, or another driver can be installed if necessary. I don't want to be experimenting on my own! Anyone have any help? Thanks.

Is there any unrecognised hardware in Device Manager? -
I am just trying to fix this slow start problem however that can be done. There are not any problems in the device manager list at all. I had even unplugged the old floppy drive (still unplugged) and the cd drive to see if they caused a problem. It has onboard graphics and has no other installed cards or devices at all. I found a bios driver listed on this site, but I get that listed error message, so I couldn't get anywhere with that. I believe that scandisk showed no problems. I wonder if maybe there is a problem with the bios or some kind of problem with the boot sector. I couldn't use a W7 install disc as it was giving me an error related to the disc not having the file for the W7 Ultimate I have, yet the disc has all W7 versions on it 32 and 64 bit. Thanks.Comment
