Hi, I got a MSI K9VGM-V motherboard with a VIA chipset and a 80GB SATA HDD, windows do not boot up, need to do editting on HDD, but boot disk do not read sata drive, any help on this? How do I make a bootable disk to edit on SATA HDD

dont understand your problem completely.
what do you want to do with SATA HDD and on where does your OS located? on another HDD or on the same SATA HDD you want to edit?
if you just need to make some partitions just insert Windows install CD.
or you need to get some information from this hdd?
does this sata disk was located in another PC before?
