hello
I have a 661fx-m7 motherboard, and iam trying to install Windows Vista (32 or 64) however, when i go through the initial set up, Windows installation cannot see my HDD, the Motherboard has SATA connections, and 3 IDE, i have a SATA HDD, (samsung F1 Spinpoint 1TB) which i know works as it had been taken out of my gaming machine to put into this one. I am told i must download the SATA drivers for this motherboard, the only SATA drivers i can find seem to be for raid configuration.
I am now beggining to think maybe the motherboard cannot handle Vista??
Could anyone of you fine forum users please shed some light on this for me? for i fear this motherboard may be about to take flying lessons
Thanks in advance.
Rich
