AOpen Keyboard

Hi - I have an (older) keyboard here - no ID on the top, but AOpen sticker on the bottom. It gives a P/N: 90.00029.966S and S/N: 441 03698 TC E1. There are no other numbers, or identification on it that I can see. It has a round (mauve) connector, that seems like an S-Video plug (?) It is plugged in to my MS XP computer - but it is not being recognized. What should I be doing? I don't even know if it works, but was trying to find out (got it for next to nothing in a second-hand store - they said it works, but, really, who knows.....) That's all I can tell you (unless you want a picture, maybe.) Any ideas from people?
