Driver for a lite-on DVD writer please.SHW 1635S 10c

Hello .Can anyone help me ? I bought a working but Used DVD+RW dual layer and the problem i have is there are plenty of drivers for the SHW 1635S but it seems that the 10C part refers to a specific model made for a one off fit.

Can any one help me please even Lite-On say they cant help.I would guess that only someone with the same model can give me the Drivers .

Usually, any R/RW device not needs a driver, but it needs RW software. Like Nero and similar...

thanks for the help .I am confused by these things I did wonder why auto detect found and installed it, but thought a Driver was needed to get it to work What is the best way to get this software and is it expensive? ,I buy most hardware on Ebay .Any more help greatly appreciated. Johnie.
