Help eMachines MX 4625

I read stick notes and will rephrase properly. I have model MX4625 AMD Sempron processor with operating system Win XP Pro. I erased my SOUND DEVICE AND AM IN BIG TROUBLE. Anyone with some advice would be my hero or heroin. How do I even know what sound device I am supposed to have?
